Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 2501 Sedgwick Avenue in Fordham Manor, The Bronx. Located between Bailey Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road, the lot is closest to the Fordham Road subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Kim Tasher under the SKF Development LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 105,302 square feet, with 92,628 square feet designated for residential space and 415 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 121 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 765 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 20-foot-long rear yard.
Badaly Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in November. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
