Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 435 Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Pitkin Avenue and Belmont Avenue, the lot is near the Sutter Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Julian Pierre under the J Tees Printing LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 53-foot-tall development will yield 10,910 square feet, with 5,495 square feet designated for residential space and 2,484 square feet for commercial space. The building will have seven residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 785 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have commercial space on the cellar and first floor.
Guillet Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

These are nice old buildings that should be saved. That have a historic look and knocking then down removes history worth saving. The are both classic bank buuldings.
I mean knock down the awful planet fitness garbage first!
Its bringing more jobs for the community.
