Façade Work Wraps on 111 Leroy Street in the West Village

Exterior work has wrapped up on 111 Leroy Street, a ten-story residential development in the West Village. Designed by Workshop/APD and developed by Property Markets Group, the project is composed of nine full-floor condominiums, called The Residences, and five adjacent single-family townhouses, called The Houses. Douglas Elliman is in charge of marketing and sales of the 14 units.

Photos show the finished look of the property, which is located between Hudson Street and Greenwich Street. The exterior makes use of multiple materials including red and gray brick, and black steel paneling for the thick cornices atop the townhomes and around the rooftop mechanical equipment. Nicole Fuller is the interior designer for the full-floor model home in the residential sales gallery, which is located in The Residences. See YIMBY’s previous article for photos.

The Residences is the tallest part of 111 Leroy Street and sits on the eastern end of the lot. This include a duplex penthouse with two rooftop terraces. The external walls have a uniform, gray-colored exterior with a number of punctured rectangular slivers in the flat brick surface. A setback is positioned on the seventh floor and includes one of the outdoor terraces.

The Houses are found along the intersection of Leroy Street and Greenwich Street, visually distinguished by their red brick walls and black industrial-style windows. This section is topped by a landscaped private terrace with a fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and hot tub. Other amenities at 111 Leroy Street include a 24-hour doorman, fitness center, and a residential lounge.

  1. I like its colors with my rational: Hello New York YIMBY.

  2. Well they did a good job creating what looks like an attractive base for a much taller building.
