Leasing is now underway at 295J, a new rental property at 295 Johnston Avenue in the Bergen-Lafayette section of Jersey City. Designed by BKSK Architects, the five-story building comprises 309 apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. Monthly rents begin at $1,910 with initial occupancy scheduled for April 2020. Each apartment will feature keyless entrance technology, large windows, furnished kitchen appliances and fixtures, and washer and dryers.
Occupants will also have access to a full suite of amenities including Amazon lockers for incoming and outgoing packages, a fitness center, a resident lounge, on-site parking, and a landscaped courtyard with a pool, BBQ grills, fire pits, and ping pong tables. The pet-friendly building also features a dog-wash station and a rooftop dog run with views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.
“We’re excited to officially open 295J in a neighborhood that has a unique character and desirable lifestyle attributes,” said David Barry, president of Ironstate Development Company, which developed 295J in partnership with Brookfield and Landmark Development. “We expect our residents to explore and enjoy the local fabric of the neighborhood while also taking advantage of the adjacent light rail station that will conveniently connect them to Downtown Jersey City and additional public transportation options into Manhattan.”
