Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 25-63 36th Street in Astoria, Queens. Located between Astoria Boulevard South and 28th Avenue, the interior lot is four blocks east of the Astoria Boulevard subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Shahryar Azizzadeh under the 63 Plaza LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 48-foot-tall development will yield 5,000 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have seven residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 714 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 41-foot-long rear yard.

Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architects Studio is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed this month for the 1920s two-family home on the lot. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
