INOA Architecture has released new renderings of a five-story rental building at 81 India Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. As depicted, the structure features an idiosyncratic, futuristic massing unlike any building under construction in the neighborhood.
The entrance is shrouded in vertical wooden slats that create a warm and welcoming transition into the building’s lobby. Above the ground floor, the façade is comprised of concrete composite and floor-to-ceiling windows that gently undulate around the lateral midpoint of the elevation. At the roof level, the architects have designed a partially enclosed terrace that will most likely be available to all future occupants.
At this point, the project team has not revealed any images or details regarding the interior of the building. The project is expected to open by summer 2021 and is one of several ongoing projects from Investmates Real Estate & Development.

Just like ‘yesterday’s’ Greenpoint building on Eagle St..these smaller places stand out over their larger, “something for everyone”cousins.
Ugly new construction that does not fit the neighborhood. At least Belvidere construction tries to fit in.
