Permits have been filed for a 12-story mixed-use building at 2962 Jerome Avenue in Jerome Park, The Bronx. Located between East 199th Street and Bedford Park Boulevard, the interior lot is near both the Bedford Park Boulevard subway stations, serviced by the B, D, and 4 trains. Edward Khalil under the Castle Hill Management LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 122-foot-tall development will yield 19,783 square feet, with 18,651 square feet designated for residential space and 1,738 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 26 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 717 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a 27-foot-long rear yard but no accessory parking.
Bahram Tehrani of Best Engineering Technology is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
