Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 851 East 167th Street in Longwood, The Bronx. Located between Reverend James A. Polite Avenue and Hall Place, the interior lot a short walk to the Simpson Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Paul Durgaj under the Durgaj Properties Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 38-foot-tall development will yield 12,053 square feet, with 11,837 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 18 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 657 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Fred Geremia Architects & Planners is listed as the architect of record.

Existing building to be demolished is 2-units. R7-1 zoning, should go larger than 4 stories.
I live right across the street. I remember when the brother passed away. Years later the sisters passed away. That is what I called them Brother and his two sisters. House has been empty for a couple of years. Another house was torn down next to them. So two separate buildings are going up. Yes Guest two different sizes are going up.
