Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 540 Willoughby Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Marcy Avenue and Tompkins Avenue, the interior lot is two blocks south of the Myrtle-Willoughby Avenues subway station, serviced by the G train. Isaac Broyn under the 540 Willoughby Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 49-foot-tall development will yield 5,626 square feet, with 3,982 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have six residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 663 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Flavio Barros of CB Engineering PC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
