Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 1193 44th Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of 12th Avenue and 44th Street, the corner lot is one block from the Fort Hamilton Parkway subway station, serviced by the D train. Zalmen Reiss of Z. Reiss is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 25,017 square feet, with 15,046 square feet designated for residential space and 4,980 square feet for community facility space. The building will have ten residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,504 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and six enclosed parking spaces.
