Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 236 Avenue Z in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Located between West 15th Street and West 16th Street, the interior lot is a short walk to the Bay 50th Street subway station, serviced by the D train. Usman Ashrif is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 4,960 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have four residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,240 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 30-foot-long rear yard, but no accessory parking.
Muzaffar Jamal of Architectural Concept Inc. is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
