Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 661 Manida Street in Hunts Point, The Bronx. Located between Randall Avenue and Spofford Avenue, the interior lot is closest to the Hunts Point Avenue subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Joseph Silberman of the Josil Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 19,108 square feet, with 16,478 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 24 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 686 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, a 40-foot-long rear yard, and four enclosed parking spaces.
Amr Ouda, PE is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in October 2019 for the two-story house on the lot. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
