Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1437 Hancock Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Irving Avenue and Wyckoff Avenue, the interior lot is two blocks west of the Halsey Street subway station, serviced by the L train. Horizon Group under the 1504 Jeff LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 9,020 square feet, with 6,518 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have nine residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 724 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Olivera Grk is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
