Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 637 East 233rd Street in Wakefield, The Bronx. Located between Carpenter Avenue and White Plains Road, the interior lot is closest to the Nereid Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. The proposed 48-foot-tall development will yield 38,697 square feet, with 32,236 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 42 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 767 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 44-foot-long rear yard.
Leder-Luis Architectural Design is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
