Housing Lottery Launches for 465 West 163rd Street in Washington Heights, Manhattan

The affordable housing lottery is open for 465 West 163rd Street, a six-story residential development in Washington Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by A&T Engineering, the 16-unit building will yield 14,257 square feet. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $59,143 to $133,120.

Residential amenities include assigned virtual doorman, bike storage, and security cameras. Units will have washers and dryers, dishwashers, energy-efficient appliances, and air conditioning. Some units will have private outdoor space.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are two studios with a $1,725 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $59,143 to $118,300; and three one-bedrooms with a $2,100 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $72,000 to $133,120.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than February 10, 2021.

Just common sense you you are making that kind of money you already have a place to live unless you just want to be in a new building were there is people who have no were to live like in shelters or on the street who desperately need a roof over there heads.welcome to the United snake of america. Unbelievable.

    • I agree 100 percent these developments come up in the neighborhood to tease us and say low income we cant afford we want equal rights for housing go and replace these expenses apartment in the suburban area what a smack in our faces all the time
