Renderings from ARC Architecture + Design Studio depict a new eight-story mixed-use building at 71-82 Parsons Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens. The illustration reveals an imposing corner property with a variety of private outdoor spaces, a gray masonry façade, and an expansive rooftop recreation space crowning the entirety of the structure.
The 82-foot-tall structure will comprise a total of 101,923 square feet. Residential area will include 94 rentals spread across 66,916 square feet. The remainder of the development will include 7,489 square feet of community facility space, a 46-vehicle enclosed parking garage, and a 30-foot rear yard.
A single-story commercial building that occupied the parcel has already been demolished. As of today, A&R Properties Group, the owner behind the applications, has not announced an anticipated date of completion for the new building.
