The affordable housing lottery has launched for 142 Lenox Road, an eight-story residential development in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Designed by AR-Tech Engineering, the 18,357-square-foot building will yield 16 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $59,143 to $159,640.
Residential amenities include bike storage lockers, a gym, a recreation room, gated access, security cameras, package lockers, a virtual doorman, and a rooftop terrace. Units will have washers and dryers in units, dishwashers, air-conditioning, smart controls for heating and cooling, hardwood floors, and patios or balconies.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one studio with a $1,725 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $59,143 to $118,300 and four two-bedrooms with a $2,294 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $78,652 to $159,640.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than February 26, 2021.
