Permits have been filed for a 21-story mixed-use building at 45-19 Davis Street in Long Island City, Queens. Located near the intersection of Davis Street and Jackson Avenue, the interior lot is closest to the Court Square subway station, serviced by the 7 and G trains. Tom Wu under Davis Street Development LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 229-foot-tall development will yield 62,001 square feet, with 61,512 square feet designated for residential space and 489 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 82 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 750 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 31-foot-long rear yard, and 12 enclosed parking spaces.
Jon Yung of MY Architect PC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will not be needed as the site is already vacant and the previous one-story building demolished. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
