According to developer Wayne Moy, condominium sales will soon exceed 90 percent at 81 McGuinness Boulevard, a six-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The property was designed by Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architects and completed in 2020. Today, only one unit remains unsold, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home priced at $1.59 million.
“81 McGuinness signifies a very special offering in today’s market as it aptly reflects what buyers today are demanding most: more space, both indoors and out,” said Robert Earl, co-founder of The InHouse Group, the exclusive sales and marketing firm for the development. “Preferences have shifted over the past year and a half due to the pandemic, and as the development progressed, we saw a real opportunity to buck the trend and reduce the total residence count to create larger spaces that feel like true homes. This has proven to resonate with a wide range of individuals currently on the hunt for a home in the city.”

Sales originally launched March 2021 with prices starting at $1.35 million. The collection of homes range from a duplex studio up to spacious two-bedroom penthouses, all with designer finishes and appliances, floor-through layouts, and private outdoor space. Residents also have access to an outdoor terrace on the roof of the building.
“In addition to outdoor space, the demand for larger apartments has skyrocketed as people continue to spend more time at home,” said Earl. “At 81 McGuinness we intentionally reduced the overall unit count to accommodate this and increase the building’s appeal. With just one home remaining, we couldn’t be more pleased with the market’s reception of the condominium.”
