Renderings from BFS Architect reveal a new seven-story mixed-use development at 11 Weirfield Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The building will comprise 17,255 gross square feet including lower-level commercial space and community facility space with residential area above.

Renderings of the building illustrate a tan brick façade with large punched windows and glass-enclosed terraces for select units.

The unspecified sub-components will include 2,160 square feet of commercial space and 2,563 square feet for community facilities. The primary residential component will occupy just over 8,200 square feet and will be divided among ten units and unspecified amenity space.

The name and identity of the developer has not been announced, and is listed only as 11 Weirfield LLC. Construction at the property, led by E&M Builders Group, is now underway and is expected to wrap by summer 2023.

Mixed windows, mixed brick – it’s criminal design.

  2. Must of found the architecture license in a box of cracker jack. This is wretched. How does a designer get this far and not grasp the basics of good design? The right side of the building looks like it’s been hit by artillery.

Yes yes how can i get an application for one of these appartment

  4. The gradual 2-D recess of the building through its balconies to the right is a smart design, it optimizes the space & views for the building residents and prevents the perspective of a bland 7-story windowless wall on Weirfield St. + it’s probably a good compromise with the stricter zoning rules on Weirfield (4 stories max). The left wall is close to Broadway and the aerial subway so it will be pretty much invisible from a distance anyway. A great addition to the Weirfield/Halsey corner.
