The affordable housing lottery has launched for 658 Driggs Avenue, a five-story mixed-use building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Red Sky Capital, the structure yields 20 residences and 4,088 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 80 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $54,446 to $156,130.

Amenities include pet-friendly policies, a dog washing station, covered parking, storage, a recreation room, party room, virtual doorman, and outdoor areas. Units include name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops and finishes, air conditioning, high speed internet, washers and dryers, dishwashers, and hardwood floors. Tenants are responsible for electricity including heat.

At 80 percent of the AMI, there are three two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,458 for incomes ranging from $54,446 to $115,280.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one studio with a monthly rent of $2,201 for incomes ranging from $75,463 to $138,840 and two one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,320 for incomes ranging from $79,543 to $156,130.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 31, 2022.

    This is INCOME LINKED HOUSING and only affordable to upper income people.
    This is a joke and soon the 421A subsidy to ultra rich developers will disappear.
    This is a joke paid for with our taxpayer dollars to benefit upper income people , not low income. people.

  4. I am a disabled single mother and a MSW graduate student from Long Island University, and I submitted an application for a 2-Bedroom Apt through the HDC-HPD NYC Connect Lottery early. And I still haven’t heard from none of these lottery apts as of YET!
    I wonder WHY!? I pray we are not being discriminated against…. We Know GOD is watching! So Mote It Be!
    We DECREE AND DECLARE BY THE POWER OF JEHOVAH God Shall Bless Us with A Safe and Affordable Housing!
