Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a seven-story mixed-use building at 1325 Broadway in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Grove Street and Linden Street, the lot is a short walk to the Kosciuszko Street subway station, serviced by the J train. Paul Matalon of Solomon Equities is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 30,776 square feet, with 15,992 square feet designated for residential space, 14,607 square feet for commercial space, and 177 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 38 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 420 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 52-foot-long rear yard.

Issac & Stern Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as development is an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
