Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 272 Chauncey Street in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Ralph Avenue and Howard Avenue, the lot is three blocks north of the Ralph Avenue subway station, serviced by the C train. Toby Eng is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 46-foot-tall development will yield 4,940 square feet designated for residential space and an unknown number of square feet of commercial space for a retail store at the cellar level. The building will have seven residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 705 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 40-foot-long rear yard.

Jimenez Building Consulting LLC is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
