The affordable housing lottery has launched for 160 Clarkson Avenue, a seven-story residential building in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Ephraim Heimfield, the structure yields 116 residences and 58 enclosed parking spaces. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 26 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $72,000 to $187,330.

Amenities include pet-friendly policies, a shared laundry room, common area Wi-Fi, gated access, valet trash, recycling center, and a virtual doorman. Units come equipped with dishwashers, name-brand kitchen appliances, air conditioning, intercoms, and high-speed internet. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are 18 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,100 for incomes ranging from $72,000 to $156,130 and eight two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,500 for incomes ranging from $85,715 to $187,330.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than October 19, 2022.

    We were paying $175 for a six room apt at 2114 caton Avenue. Flatbush, bklyn ny.
