Permits have been filed for a nine-story residential building at 4-44 Beach 67th Street in Far Rockaway, Queens. Located between Beach Channel Drive and Thursby Avenue, the lot is near the Beach 67th Street subway station, serviced by the A train. Ericka Keller-Wala of Brisa Builders Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 58,272 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 83 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 702 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 35-foot-long rear yard and nine enclosed parking spaces.
Martin H. Kapell is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
