Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a four-story residential building at 155 Smith Street in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Located between Bergen Street and Wyckoff Street, the lot is two blocks north of the Bergen Street subway station, serviced by the F and G trains. Bruklyn Builders Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 7,071 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 707 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Leandro Nils Dickson Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as development calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
