Permits have been filed for an 11-story residential building at 2324 Second Avenue in East Harlem, Manhattan. Located between East 119th and East 120th Streets, the lot is near the 116th Street subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Chicago-based Lakshmi Capital Management LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 100-foot-tall development will yield 12,616 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 22 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 573 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 22-foot-long rear yard.
Soluri Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Hopefully it’s not set back, killing the streetwall. This architect has a project a few blocks away that is a square peg in a round hole so I have my doubts.
