Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 33-25 Junction Boulevard in North Corona, Queens. Located between Northern Boulevard and 34th Avenue, the lot is four blocks north of the Junction Boulevard subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Ashok Patel of Kellys Properties LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 16,137 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 24 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 672 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 47-foot-long rear yard, eight open parking spaces, and four enclosed parking spaces.
ABC Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
