New renderings from BDF Design have revealed a 37-unit rental property at 154 Lenox Road in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The developer responsible for the new building is Promont NYC, which expects to complete construction by spring 2026.
The building will top out at eight stories tall. Compared to previous renderings of the project, the new structure will feature a playfully modern façade with rounded window frames, white cladding, gold-hued accents, and a winding ornamental twist that runs the full height of the building. While the full amenity package has not yet been announced, renderings by interior designer Smarcon illustrate an artful lobby space, a fitness center, and a roof-level terrace for communal gathering.
Previous renderings of the project were credited to Feingold & Gregory Architects with 154 Lenox, LLC listed as the developer. This illustration featured a tan façade with recessed asymmetrical windows and Juliet balconies, and a total square footage of 28,605 square feet. It’s unclear if the building, under new ownership and its current design, will match those totals.

That’s different.
For a real laugh check out 186 Lenox. Yes that is Comic Sans for the sign.
Some of these Lenox Road new builds and their complete disregard for the handsome historic context is truly shocking.
Well, it is different and I like it. It’s definitely better than the original horrid design.
This is one striking design. But, I find it quite appealing.
I think the original design was less offensive. Too much schmaltz. Is that a fireplace burning in the lobby, for g-ds sake?
So ugly can’t stop laughing
It’s a slip-and-slide, like a water park, right?
Someone please help save Lenox road from the onslaught of obnoxious, poorly constructed, UGLINESS!
