New renderings have been unveiled in time for the leasing launch of Parish House, 17-story residential tower at 249 Willoughby Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Developed by Quinlan Development Group and designed by DXA Studio, the structure will yield 138 market-rate and affordable residences in one- and two-bedroom layouts with leasing and marketing by Corcoran New Development. The property is alternately addressed as 230 Classon Avenue and located between Classon Avenue and Emerson Place.

Monthly leasing for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit begins at $3,450 and for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom at $5,175. Residences come with open plan layouts, floor-to-ceiling windows, wide plank hardwood floors, keyless smart lock entry systems, central heating and cooling, and in-unit washers and dryers. Most units will have a private balcony or terrace.

Residents will also have access to 20,000 square feet of amenities including an attended lobby with package room, private resident storage, indoor parking garage, coworking lounge, fitness center with yoga/movement studio, party room with wet bar and kitchenette, and an outdoor gaming terrace with billiards and shuffleboard.

On the 17th level of Parish House is the Penthouse Sunset Lounge, which features multiple lounging and socializing areas and leads to a landscaped Skydeck with outdoor lounging, grilling stations, and dining areas. There is also a residents-only private park space located directly on the corner of Willoughby and Classon Avenues.

Located on the grounds of St Mary’s Episcopal Church, Parish House is clad in a masonry and corrugated metal façade. The structure towers over the Pratt Institute campus and will provide residents with panoramic views of Downtown Brooklyn, Pratt Institute, and Lower Manhattan.

Move-ins for Parish House are expected to begin in mid-March 2023.

  1. Don’t mind me, I’m just here for the application form request comments

  2. market rate and affordable units? thats actually high middle income and 6 figure income, hmmm so this is how governer kathy and mayor adams 500,000 so called affordable housing unit plan, SMH

  3. I’d love to see photographs of this project instead of renderings. Maybe Michael Young can take a field trip when the cherry trees are blooming.

  4. Joe,
They don’t mention the pricing for the affordable units. “Monthly leasing for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit begins at $3,450 and for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom at $5,175” is pricing for the market rate component of the building, which are even high for Brooklyn. These are actually prices often associated with comparable units in Manhattan, not Brooklyn. Pardon my language, but you would have to be a complete schmuck to pay those rents in Brooklyn. If you have that kind of income and want to live in Brooklyn, a smarter way to park your money would be in a Brooklyn condo or coop. Glenn in Brooklyn, NY.
