The affordable housing lottery has launched for 28 Bartlett Street, a seven-story residential building in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Jongmin Kim Architects and developed by Moshe Jacobowitz, the structure yields 12 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $137,143 to $215,150.

Amenities include parking and an elevator. Tenants are responsible for gas including stove and hot water, and electricity including heat.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are four three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $4,000 for incomes ranging from $137,143 to $215,150.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 19, 2023.

  1. This is the biggest joke I’ve ever seen.
    How could you possibly try and call this affordable housing!
    This is INCOME LINKED HOUSING FOR THE UPPER CLASS, not for the low or middle income people that desperatelly need this housing.
    So the millionaire developer used the now dead 421A NYS taxpayer subsidy to build At 130 percent of the AMI, four three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $4,000 for incomes ranging from $137,143 to $215,150 and then proceed to call this affordable?!

    We need housing ordinances to stop this luxury housing. I work for the city and cannot afford to live or retire hear shame on the Democratic Party leaders for selling us out to the highest bidder.God help us
