The affordable housing lottery has launched for 311 Franklin Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by Sion Consulting and developed by Mathew Ahdoot of United Bay Ridge, the structure yields ten residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $90,858 to $187,330.

Residences feature recessed lighting, floor-to-ceiling windows, air conditioning, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit washers and dryers. Amenities include an elevator, storage, recycling center, bike storage, outdoor space, and a virtual doorman. Tenants are responsible for electricity that includes stove, heating, and hot water.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,650 for incomes ranging from $90,858 to $187,330.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 25, 2023.

    This is INCOME LINKED HOUSING for high middle income and high income people.
    This isn’t affordable to low income and middle income people who desperately need this housing
