Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 653 Baltic Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Located between 4th and 5th Avenues, the lot is near the Bergen Street subway station, serviced by the 2, 3, and 4 trains. Jason Rivera of Constructionlab LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 12,000 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 11 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,090 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a 30-foot-long rear yard and 11 enclosed parking spaces.
Urban Design Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet for the parking lot on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

just what we need 11 parking spaces for more cars?
1 to 1 unit to parking spaces ratio? Just awful
Ya know, these 11 rentals already have 11 cars—it’s not like they’re gonna sign a lease and *poof* there are 11new cars in Brooklyn! People have cars in the United States! They’ve probably been parking on the street—hooray, now they’re off the street!
