75 McGuinness Boulevard in Greenpoint, Brooklyn via NYC Housing Connect

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 75 McGuinness Boulevard, an eight-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Avalon Designs and developed by David Grunfeld under the GW BLVD LLC, the structure yields 32 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are seven units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $107,178 to $198,250.

Amenities include pet-friendly policies, bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, package lockers, a common area wifi, storage, gym, yoga and dance studio, spa, and a rooftop terrace. Units come equipped with dishwashers, air conditioning, hardwood floors, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are four one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,126 for incomes ranging from $107,178 to $165,230; and three two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,733 for incomes ranging from $127,989 to $198,250.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than September 15, 2023.

    This isn’t affordable housing for low or middle income people of NYC but INCOME LINKED HOUSING FOR UPPER INCOME only.
    NYS taxpayers subsidized the millionaire developer from the dead 421A program to build
