Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 107-09 Northern Boulevard in Corona, Queens. Located between 107th Street and 108th Street, the lot is near the 111th subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Liyi Zhu of 10709 Holding LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 69-foot-tall development will yield 20,538 square feet, with 12,506 square feet designated for residential space and 8,032 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 14 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 893 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and seven enclosed parking spaces.
HWL Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in June for the single-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
