The affordable housing lottery has launched for select units at Sky, a 71-story residential building at 605 West 42nd Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Designed by Hill West Architects, the structure yields 430 residences. Available now on NYC Housing Connect is one one-bedroom at 40 percent of the area median income (AMI), one studio at 60 percent AMI, and two studios at 120 percent AMI; ranging in eligible income from $22,869 to $183,000. You can also apply for a waiting list for future vacancies.
Amenities include pet-friendly policies, a garage, bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, gym, pool, community events and classes, concierge, and an on-site resident manager. Units come equipped with washers and dryers, dishwashers, air conditioning, intercoms, and name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than September 25, 2023.
