TF Cornerstone will soon welcome Chip City Cookies, an expanding New York City-based bakery, as a retail tenant at 278 Seventh Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative, the 14-story rental property known as Chelsea Centro opened in 2001 and comprises around 133,000 square feet. Chip City Cookies is expected to open at the beginning of next year.
Winick Realty Group assisted negotiations for Chip City’s new 664-square-foot, ten-year lease. The bakery is the first retail tenant to be announced while interior construction continues. The entire retail component occupies around 4,000 square feet of the building’s ground floor.
“Chip City is an exciting addition to the Chelsea community, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the neighborhood,” said Steve Gonzalez, TF Cornerstone’s vice president of retail leasing. “Their presence represents our continued work toward enhancing our shopping experience and reaffirms our commitment to curating a diverse and exciting lineup of offerings for our valued community members and residents.”
