The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2973 Ocean Parkway, a six-story mixed-use building in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Designed by Bricolage Designs and developed by David Winiarsky, the structure yields ten residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $76,389 to $198,250.
Residences have air conditioning, split unit heating and cooling, hardwood floors, intercoms, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Amenities include a virtual doorman. Tenants are responsible for electricity, which includes heat and gas for cooking. Hot water is included with the rent.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are two one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,228 for incomes ranging from $76,389 to $165,230, and one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $2,500 for incomes ranging from $85,715 to $198,250.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than November 10, 2023.
