Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 2951 Brighton 8th Street in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Located between Neptune and Ocean View Avenues, the lot is near the Brighton Beach subway station, served by the B and Q trains. Moses Ostreicher under the 216th Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 13,644 square feet, with 11,117 square feet designated for residential space and 2,527 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 12 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 926 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a terrace on the five floor and four open parking spaces.
Oleg Ruditser of Engineering Professional Service is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
