Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 439 East 77th Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Located between 1st Avenue and York Avenue, the lot is closest to the 72nd Street subway station on the Second Avenue line, serviced by the Q train. Jack Ezra of Urban Spring Capital is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 28,923 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 16 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,807 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and two enclosed parking spaces.
ARC Architecture + Design Studio is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed earlier this month for the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
