The affordable housing lottery has launched for Amnia, a 13-story mixed-use building at 127-131 Concord Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Input Creative Studio with S. Wieder Architect and developed by Bruklyn Builders, the structure yields 73 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 22 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $72,000 to $167,570.
Amenities at Amnia include private storage, bicycle parking, a game room, a fully equipped gym, a residents lounge, a rooftop lounge with Manhattan skyline views, and a landscaped courtyard with a dog run. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are four studios with a monthly rent of $2,924 for incomes ranging from $100,252 to $146,900; seven one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,126 for incomes ranging from $107,178 to $165,230; and 11 two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,733 for incomes ranging from $127,989 to $198,250.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 22, 2024.
