Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a four-story residential building at 283 Graham Avenue in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located near the intersection of Powers Street and Graham Avenue, the lot is near the Grand Street subway station, serviced by the L train. Mendel Fleischman of The Garden Bond is listed as the owner behind the applications, along with the adjacent 285 Graham Avenue.

The proposed 56-foot-tall development will yield 6,109 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 763 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a penthouse but no accessory parking.

Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a vertical expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
