The affordable housing lottery has launched for The Crown Residency at Northern, a seven-story mixed-use building at 103-14 Northern Boulevard in Corona, Queens. Designed by GKA Design Group and developed by GKAP Development Group, the structure yields 39 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 12 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $77,109 to $198,250.
Amenities include pet-friendly policies, a garage with assigned parking spaces, bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, common area Wi-Fi, storage, gym, and rooftop terrace. Residences come with a patio or balcony, air conditioning, energy-efficient appliances, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one studio with a monthly rent of $2,249 for incomes ranging from $77,109 to $146,900; nine one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,289 for incomes ranging from $78,480 to $165,230; and two two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,567 for incomes ranging from $88,012 to $198,250.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than February 14, 2024.
