Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 88-29 138th Street in Jamaica, Queens. Located between Hillside Avenue and Jamaica Avenue, the lot is near the Sutphon Boulevard subway station, serviced by the F train. Anthony Namdar is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 53-foot-tall development will yield 6,236 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 779 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Pirooz Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in September 2023 for the 1930-built structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
