21-27 30th Drive in Astoria, Queens via NYC Housing Connect

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 21-27 30th Drive, a five-story residential building in Astoria, Queens. Designed by GreenbergFarrow, the structure yields 14 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $86,126 to $165,230.

New leases get a two-month rental concession. Amenities include pet-friendly policies, an elevator, bike storage lockers, parking, and a rooftop terrace. Residences have washer and dryers in the unit, air conditioning, dishwashers, smart controls for heating and cooling, and patios or balconies. Tenants are responsible for electricity, which includes heat, hot water, and electric stove.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are five one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,400 for incomes ranging from $86,126 to $165,230.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 25, 2024.

  1. I wonder why the architects designed a thoughtful facade, with interesting brick detailing, would do not design a FRONT DOOR to make a gracious entrance. It’s an unadorned after thought.
