Permits have been filed for a 12-story community building at 5921 Palisade Avenue in Riverdale, The Bronx. Located near the intersection of Sigma Place and Palisade Avenue, the lot is near the MetroNorth Riverdale station, serviced by the Hudson line. Riverspring Hebrew Home at Riverdale is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 140-foot-tall development will yield 1,092,262 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 260 residences, cafeterias, recreation space, and more. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, 58 open parking spaces, and 407 enclosed parking spaces.
Perkins Eastman Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
