Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 32-53 101st Street in East Elmhurst, Queens. Located between 32nd Avenue and Northern Boulevard, the lot is closest to the Junction Boulevard subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Khosrow Soleimanzadeh is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 58-foot-tall development will yield 23,947 square feet, with 18,229 square feet designated for residential space and 5,718 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 24 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 759 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and 12 enclosed parking spaces.
Sion Consulting Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
