Silverstein Properties has announced that Ekimetrics, a global technology company offering data science and AI-powered solutions, has signed a ten-year lease for 24,367 square feet at the landmarked Equitable Building, located at 120 Broadway in Manhattan’s Financial District. This move marks the relocation of Ekimetrics’ sole US office from 155 West 23rd Street to the historic skyscraper’s 29th floor.
120 Broadway, also known as the Equitable Building, has recently undergone extensive renovations. These improvements include The Bankers Club, a penthouse amenity for tenants featuring terraces with views of Lower Manhattan, as well as a lounge, café, and food hall. Additionally, the tenth floor has been transformed into a comprehensive amenity center with a lounge, yoga room, conference facilities, a 1980s arcade, a speakeasy by street artist Lady Aiko, and a 1940s-inspired detective office.
The transaction was brokered by Harlan Strader and Erik Harris from Newmark representing Silverstein Properties, and Eric Ferriello from Colliers representing Ekimetrics.
120 Broadway features vaulted ceilings, gold leaf accents, marble floors, and hand-carved details, standing as a beacon of classic style for over a century. It is located near major transit hubs, including The Oculus and Fulton Center, offering easy transit to a wide variety of locations across the New York City metropolitan area.
“We are thrilled to have a global innovator like Ekimetrics join the roster of leading companies at 120 Broadway,” said Harlan Strader III, vice president of leasing at Silverstein Properties. “The building’s top-tier amenity spaces and convenient location in the heart of Lower Manhattan continue to appeal to tenants looking to attract new talent and foster in-person collaboration as they grow and innovate.”
