Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 1447 West 5th Street in Bensonhurst, Booklyn. Located between Avenue D and 65th Street, the lot is three blocks from the Bay Parkway subway station, serviced by the N train. David Lin under the 1447 West 5th KTD LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 8,545 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 854 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and three open parking spaces.
Ameriland Brook is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
