The affordable housing lottery has launched for 217 Main Street, a three-story mixed-use building in Tottenville, Staten Island. Designed by Dome Architecture and developed by Taormina Properties LLC, the structure yields 18 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $85,715 to $218,010.

Amenities include a garage with assigned parking spaces, bike storage lockers, elevator, and a recycling center. Residences come equipped with energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, smart controls for heating and cooling, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are four two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,500 for incomes ranging from $85,715 to $218,010.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 6, 2024.
